Who Needs Us?
The Main Street Mission Report on Homeless
Causes of people becoming homeless that live in the area.
Mother Asks for Help
"I am a mother of three children, and I work hard everyday for my three
children. I am the only one working, and I have had almost all of my utilities
shut off. I am hitting hard times now. Sometimes I really don't know how I
am going to make it. I have to because of my children. They are everything
to me." -K.W.
Families That Move Into The Area
These families come to the River Valley because of all the great jobs here.
They do not know that this is a transit area making all deposits very high.
Because of this they end up in a motel and it takes all their money.
